The Minority Caucus in the House of Representatives heartily felicitates with former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida as he celebrates his 81st birthday.


Gen. Babangida remains an Iconic Statesman, detribalized leader and patriot with an unswerving dedication, love and commitment towards the unity, peace, stability and development of our dear nation.

He is an embodiment of tolerance in the drive for national cohesion and economic progress. Even in his retirement, Gen. Babangida continues to play prominent roles in stabilizing the polity.


The Minority Caucus congratulates Gen. Babangida at this special occasion and prays God to grant him many more years in good health as he continues in his service to our dear fatherland and humanity at large.
