Don’t Act As Sole Administrators, Ortom Charges Newly Sworn-in LG Chairmen

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has charged the 23 newly sworn-in Council Chairmen in the State to carry everyone along in running the administration of their respective local governments.  The Governor gave the charge on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 while inaugurating the elected local government Chairmen at the Benue Peoples House, Makurdi. He urged the Chairmen to imbibe the culture of operating an inclusive administration, pointing out that they must always involve all Council members, stakeholders as well as the local government legislative members in decision-making in order to succeed. Mompha case update: How surety documents were wrongfully held by court

The Ikeja Special Offences Court's administrative handling of the celebrated case against Ismail Mustapha aka Mompha, has been found operating below accepted court administrative  standards. Mompha was arrested on January 10 by the EFCC but was arraigned and granted bail. However, the defendant has failed to appear in court on two scheduled dates for his trial, leading to Justice Mojisola Dada, revoking his bail and issuing a bench warrant for his arrest, on the 22nd of June 2022. Documents sighted by our reporter has now revealed how the court actually wrongly handled the surety documents in the case. Justice Dada had in the last sitting adjourned the case until June 16, 2022, for further consideration on the bail application and ordered the defendant to be in the custody of the defense counsel. Urban Renewal: Media Outfits Damare Community And NYSC Camp Get Access Road

 Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Tuesday, alongside Ahijo Bamanga, a former Federal Permanent Secretary performed the ceremony of commissioning ATV, GOTEL, AIT AND NYSC Camp Badarisa road. Alhaji Bamanga, the guest of honour, applauded Gov. Fintiri for achieving such a huge road project - among many others - despite the country's financial problems. Bamanga commended Governor Fintiri for delivering projects with direct bearing on the people, and fulfilling his campaign promises  Speaking during the official commissioning event, Governor Fintiri said that the Damare Badarisa road project will advance the socio-economic growth of the state and play a crucial part in building a new Adamawa state.
