Political Class, Nigerians To Honour Solomon Lar

All is now set for the public presentation of the official biography/launching of the Late Chief Solomon Daushep Lar Leadership Institute in Abuja.

The event promising to bring together, all the political class is in honour of the late elder statesman for his contribution towards entrenching democratic values in Nigeria.

Known as “The Emancipator” the late Chief Lar was the first civilian governor of the old Plateau State and subsequently the pioneer national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).

According to a press release signed by Dr Mike Omeri, Chairman, Solomon/Mary Lar Foundation, the event is expected to attract first class dignitaries across the political spectre, business and family associates of the late politician.

The event It will take place at NAF conference center, Kado, Abuja FCT, on the October 6 2022, it said.

“Major political gladiators and friends of the former old Plateau state Governor have agree to personally attend the event”, Omeri stressed.

Furthermore, both serving and former governors, former and serving ministers and leaders of the political parties in the country are expected at the event.

Already, the Lar Foundation along with the wife of the late emancipator, Amb.(Prof) Mary Lar and family associates are in Abuja to fine-tune the modalities of the programme, it added.
